Maintenance

• Pre-Use Check: Before each use, a visual and functional inspection of the cable, housing, hook, and braking system is mandatory.
• Cleaning: Use a clean cotton cloth or soft brush to remove surface dirt. For intensive cleaning, wash with a neutral detergent in warm water (25°C-50°C) and allow to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct fire or heat sources.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme acidic or basic environments, chemical substances, and sharp edges.
• Annual Inspection: It is recommended that a formal, detailed inspection be conducted annually by a competent person authorized by the manufacturer.
• Post-Fall Procedure: If this device is subjected to fall arrest forces, it must be withdrawn from service immediately and submitted to a competent person to determine if it can be returned to use.
